This home in Centerville, GA had a floor in need of replacement after being exposed to extreme moisture. There were unnoticed plumbing leaks, groundwater had been seeping into the crawl space, and the humidity of the air in the crawl space was extremely high. This caused the floor to rot until it was no longer safe to walk on. Our team installed a new treated wood floor, supported it with heavy-duty crawl space support posts - called SmartJacks, and then used a CrawlSpace Encapsulation System to protect the new wood from moisture.
In this customer's crawl space, termites, moisture, and mold caused the subfloor to rot. This caused instability and structural issues, which posed a safety hazard to the customer. Our crawl space repair services were needed to repair the damage and prevent further issues.
