The tiles on the floor were cracking from foundation settlement. The owner of the church contacted us at Lowcountry Foundation Repair to see what could be done about the issue. It was getting worse over time. Our inspector came out to the home and evaluated the issue that was occurring. They noted that the slab under the tile floor had cracked and settled on the corner. In order to lift the slab back into place and secure it, preventing settlement, the inspector recommended an installation of Slab Piers by our team. Here are the results. 6 piers were installed and then covered over with concrete. The removed tiles can be placed back on the floor afterward.
This crawlspace was showing signs of settlement and cracks on the interior walls. Our team at Lowcountry Foundation Repair came out and installed SmartJacks to relevel the floor back into place. Now the home is properly supported!
Visible cracks on the exterior of the home and uneven floors were a sure indication that this home fell victim to foundation settlement. Our Push Pier System was installed to stabilize this settling foundation by transferring the home's weight onto deep, stable soil. The Push Pier System was designed to restore the foundation to its original position and ensure the home would remain level for years to come. The system was also able to address any underlying foundation issues, preventing further settling and damage.
This Danville, GA homeowner contacted Lowcountry Foundation Repair because they were concerned about the dips in their floors. Uneven floors can actually pose as a tripping hazard for any occupants or visitors of the home. The sagging in the floors signified there was a foundation problem with this home.
We recommended our SmartJack system to be installed below the home. Our SmartJacks add foundational support to the home, and the results are nearly immediate. The floors are no longer a danger for these residents. Another happy customer in Danville!
