To prevent water from pooling and flooding this crawl space, we installed our Drainage Matting throughout the crawl space floor before sealing overtop with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. The dimples on the matting allow water to freely drain to the drainage system and sump pump to ensure water isn't stagnant in the space. 

We received a call from a Charleston homeowner concerned about the condition of her vapor barrier under her home in the crawlspace. She asked us to take a look and suggest possible solutions to her moisture problem.

Our inspector spent nearly two and a half hours investigating the situation; recorded issues, took photographs, measured the relative humidity and provided a solution that would address the moisture problem. 

The Lowcountry Foundation Repair Team designed and installed a solution specifically for that property to address the issues at hand and prevented future problems.

Our inspector, Jason Ussery, suggested the crawl space be encapsulated with CleanSpace, a seven-layer reinforced laminate that isolates the home from the earth completely and reduces humidity levels.

After two days of installation, the crawl space was safe from future moisture and humidity damage. The homeowner was thrilled with the results!
