Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Our team was contacted by a homeowner in Charleston, SC, who wanted to restore peace of mind and protect their property value. During our inspector's evaluation of the crawl space, they found a mess of insulation and signs of high humidity levels. To address the issue and prevent future damage to the home, they recommended having the CleanSpace Encapsulation System installed. This system provides a barrier to moisture and protects the house from damage caused by humidity. With this solution, the homeowner can be confident that their property and investment are protected.

A homeowner in Charleston, SC was worried about humidity and ground water after recent rainstorms and flooding issues. A Cleanspace Encapsulation System, Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier, and a sump pump was installed to control the humidity levels in the crawlspace and eliminate the possibility of ground water seepage.

To prevent water from pooling and flooding this crawl space, we installed our Drainage Matting throughout the crawl space floor before sealing overtop with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. The dimples on the matting allow water to freely drain to the drainage system and sump pump to ensure water isn't stagnant in the space.

Our inspector spent nearly two and a half hours investigating the situation; recorded issues, took photographs, measured the relative humidity and provided a solution that would address the moisture problem.
