The high-performance SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, when paired with a SmartSump Pump, offers an effective solution for managing moisture in damp crawl spaces. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is designed to remove excess humidity, preventing mold growth and maintaining a healthier environment. It operates efficiently, even in large areas, ensuring consistent air quality. The SmartSump Pump complements this by managing any water accumulation, automatically pumping it out to prevent flooding and water damage. Together, they create a comprehensive system that keeps the crawl space dry, reduces the risk of structural damage, and improves overall indoor air quality.
Drainage matting goes under the crawl space liner to help move water out of your crawl space. Sometimes, water gets trapped under the liner and can't reach the perimeter drain. Our CleanSpace® Drainage Matting has raised dimples that help guide the water to the perimeter drain, where it can be directed out of your crawl space.
Guerry B. of Milledgeville, GA had water gathering in the corners of his basement. An old vapor barrier had allowed moisture to seep into the basement over time which created standing puddles. Guerry didn’t know how to fix his issue so he asked some of his neighbors about their basements. They recommended he call the experts at Lowcountry Foundation Repair for a free estimate.
An inspector from Lowcountry Foundation Repair visited the home and evaluated the basement and surrounding area. A custom solution was put in place to divert the water out of the basement by utilizing a SmartSump, a cast iron submersible pump that pumps 2,240 gallons per hour. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to reduce the humidity in Guerry’s basement. The water was cleared up and the basement protected from further moisture issues.
