Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Wilbur, H of Raffin, SC had a wet, dirty crawl space that he had been dealing with for a while. He tried to dry out the crawl space by installing a crawl space fan. The fan blew warm humid air in the cool crawl space only making things worse. He paid a pest control company to put plastic down but it didn't last. 

Lowcountry Basement Systems was able to fix the wet, nasty crawl space for Wilbur by installing a Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System. 

This homeowner was interested in decreasing the humidity in their crawlspace. They were noticing small pools of water and gross smells permeating the home from the crawlspace. They called us at Lowcountry Foundation Repair and we sent a team out to install a  CleanSpace Encapsulation, complete with sump pump and dehumidifier. Additionally, the floor was unsupported in one area, so SmartJacks were installed to stabilize the floor.

This Okatie, SC homeowner became concerned about his crawl space when he noticed water pooling under his home after heavy rains. He contacted Lowcountry Foundation Repair interested in a complete encapsulation for his crawl space and schedule an appointment with one of our inspectors. 

Our inspector, Brian Townsel, carefully took notes and pictures of the problems in the crawl space and reported what he saw back to the homeowner. The moisture was saturating the insulation with water and it was falling apart. The insulation was also holding water up against the wood foundation.
