We installed Cleanspace Drainage Matting in this customer's crawl space to prevent moisture buildup and improve air quality. The product creates a barrier that redirects water away from the foundation, reducing the risk of mold and mildew growth.
Heavy rains caused water to flood a Savannah, GA homeowner’s crawl space and pool outside their home, creating a recurring problem. To address this, we installed our StarPipe drainage system, a highly effective solution designed to manage excess water. The system includes a network of perforated pipes and gravel that redirects water away from the home, preventing further flooding. By installing StarPipe, we repaired the issue, ensuring the crawl space and surrounding areas remain dry even during heavy rainfall.
We installed SmartJacks to stabilize the sagging floors and ensure long-term structural support.
This Savannah, GA homeowner contacted Lowcountry Foundation Repair to receive an estimate for a vapor barrier in his crawl space. We scheduled him for a free appointment with our of our inspectors.
Our inspector suggested that we use our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a seven-layer reinforced laminate that isolates the home from the earth completely and reduces humidity levels. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona, a dehumidifier that maintains the relative humidity in the crawl space to prevent moisture and microbial growth.
After three installation days, the crawl space was completely encapsulated and the homeowner was very happy with the results!
Henry W. had sagging floors and noticed cracks appearing in the walls of his Hawkinsville, GA home. This changed the way Henry and his family walked around their home, trying not to make the problem worse. Henry did a search online for options to support his home’s subfloor and fix the cracks; he found Lowcountry Foundation Repair.
The Lowcountry Foundation Repair team installed a SmartJack System in Henry’s crawl space as well as additional PowerBrace supplemental beams to support, level and stabilize the home’s sagging subfloor. Both systems are designed to support the main beams of the house and lift the subfloor. Henry was thrilled that in one day his house was properly supported.
