This homeowner was interested in decreasing the humidity in their crawlspace. They were noticing small pools of water and gross smells permeating the home from the crawlspace. They called us at Lowcountry Foundation Repair and we sent a team out to install a  CleanSpace Encapsulation, complete with sump pump and dehumidifier. Additionally, the floor was unsupported in one area, so SmartJacks were installed to stabilize the floor.

This home had failing support in the crawl space and the wood was starting to rot from the high humidity levels. Our team at Lowcountry Foundation Repair was sent out to install SmartJacks to stabilize the floor. A CleanSpace Encapsulation was also installed to control the damaging levels of humidity in the space.

Robin needed five SmartJacks to fix the sinking floor. The work was completed in one day and she was thrilled to walk on solid floors once more.

A Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System was then installed to finish this crawl space, sealing it from moisture coming in from the ground, transforming this “problem” crawl space into a clean, dry foundation. The owners were thrilled!
