Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System was permanently fastened to the crawl space floor and walls to stop moisture from coming through into the space. 

Before, this Rincon, GA homeowner was faced with worrisome cracks throughout their home due to a settling foundation. Notice in the before photo the clear signs of stress on the structure. After calling us at Lowcountry, as seen in the after photo, we provided a steadfast solution by installing SmartJack – a reliable system designed to stabilize and lift the foundation back to its initial position. Excessive moisture in this crawl space led to damaged floor joists and sagging floors. To reinforce the joists and stabilize the sagging floor, we installed new lumber and sistered joists. Our SmartJack System was installed to lift the sagging floor to level. 

Moisture and humidity in this customers crawl space caused a slew of issues. As part of our encapsulation process, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate moisture, musty odors, and mold spores from the air. This ensure a dry, healthy space.  

Excessive moisture in the crawl space led to joist damage that caused the floor above the crawl space to sag. After our team addressed and repaired the moisture issue in the crawl space, they installed our SmartJack Support System to provide adequate support needed to stabilize and level the floor above.
