A custom solution was put in place to divert the water out of the basement by utilizing a SmartSump, a cast iron submersible pump that pumps 2,240 gallons per hour. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to reduce the humidity in Guerry’s basement. The water was cleared up and the basement protected from further moisture issues.
The owner was considering adding a second floor to their home, but noticed a crack on the exterior of their foundation, indicating sinking. Our team installed piers under the home, which are essentially supports that are drilled deep into the ground past the soft soils to a dense, weight bearing layer. The homeowner could then proceed with their home project.
