This nasty dirt crawl space was filled with debris, moisture issues, and a damaged, inefficient liner. Installing a barrier between the dirt crawl space and the home can prevent groundwater leaks, water seepage, moisture, mold growth, and other damage. However, if it is an ineffective barrier, it will underperform and your problems will persist. By adding our CleanSpace vapor barrier, our waterproofing specialists at Lowcountry Foundation Repair were able to transform this nasty, damp crawl space into a clean storage area, protecting it against moisture seepage, water infiltration, air leaks, and more. This home in Ravenel, SC had unlevel floors and weak wood joists in the crawl space. One of our inspectors was sent out to do a thorough inspection of the property and create a free customized quote for the solution. The inspector identified the areas that were unlevel and recommended having the weak wood reinforced with new wood and having our SmartJack® Crawl Space Stabilizer system strategically installed to provide sufficient support in the necessary areas.
