Jeanette B. from Sparta, GA noticed she was having water intrusion in her crawlspace. She wanted to find a solution as quickly as possible and did research on who to call. Jeanette found Lowcountry Foundation Repair and gave them a call.
Jeanette was set up for a free inspection with a customized quote for the solution. The inspector came and looked at her crawlspace and decided that using an encapsulation would be the best way to solve Jeanette’s problem. An encapsulation would be installed into the crawlspace and would seal off moisture to create a dry space. This would also prevent any groundwater from coming into Jeanette’s home.
Jeanette decided to move forward with the recommendation and our production team came and installed the encapsulation. Just as predicted, the problem has been resolved and Jeanette is very happy with the results.
Frances H. of Sparta, GA had cracks on her home’s outside wall. Her bathroom door was sticking, and was hard to open and shut. The inspector noted cracking in the bricks on the exterior of the home, as well as weakened columns in the crawl space and an improperly supported subfloor as a result. The inspector recommended installing a SmartJack System to provide the proper support to the subfloor, which would fix Frances’ issues. She decided to have the work done, and in less than two days the floor was stabilized and level, her door didn’t stick any more and the cracks on the outside of the home sealed up on their own. Frances was thrilled!
Ronald C. of Sparta, GA called Lowcountry Basement Systems to help him with his foundation issue. Ron’s home had a detached garage; the concrete slab of the garage had cracked in half creating a tripping hazard for Ron and his wife. It was also an eyesore and make parking an unpleasant experience.
Lowcountry Basement Systems sent one of their inspectors to Ron’s home to examine the problem. Luckily it was fixable. The garage would not have to be torn down and rebuilt. The solution to Ron’s problem came in two parts.
First, the footer of the sinking slab would be stabilized and lifted back into place if possible. Then PolyLevel would be injected under the slab to lift it, eliminating the tripping hazard and eyesore.
After the inspector explained the process and told Ron about the warranty, Rob decided to have the work done. In the follow-up survey Lowcountry Basement Systems sent to Ron, Ron said he had an “Excellent” experience with the company, office staff, installation crew and the inspector.
