Rick of Statesboro, Ga had a basement in his home that would flood every time it rained. The water destroyed his flooring, walls and everything else in the area. One day he couldn’t take it anymore and asked Lowcountry Basement Systems to investigate the situation. Our inspector, Kris Evans, was able to identify the problems and come up with a solution to keep Rick's basement dry so he could reclaim his 300 plus sqft of unusable space.

Kris had our production team members install a full perimeter WaterGuard System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump system and EverLast panels to protect the basement from moisture while giving it a finished look. At the end of the project, Rick was able to use his basement as he desired without the costly expense of adding on an addition to his house.

Kevin M. of Portal, GA purchased a house built on a crawl space. During the inspection process, he noticed erosion under two of the piers. He called Lowcountry Basement Systems and asked if they could level the house and add additional support piers.

Chris B. of Statesboro, GA had a problem with his foundation. When he and his wife closed on their house a week earlier, the home inspector told Chris the piers supporting his foundation were sinking into the dirt floor of the crawl space. Hope S. of Statesboro, GA was concerned that her crawl space had excess moisture. Previously, Hope has a plastic liner laid down in her crawl space, however, the crawl space was not completely encapsulated. Warm, humid air came into the crawl space via the crawl space vents.

When the warm, humid air met the cool air of the crawl space, condensation formed on the joists and subfloor. Hope installed crawl space vents, thinking it would dry the crawl space, however, it only made the problem worse.
