This home in Wilmington Island, GA had foundation issues in multiple areas of the home. The floor in the home was unlevel. The existing support posts in the crawlspace were not sufficient for long-term support of the floor, so our team installed our SmartJack Support Posts in the expanses between the existing posts and in a few additional areas, leveling the settled floor. Additionally, there was a section of the home toward the front that was settling, showing a large crack in the concrete blocks of the foundation wall. Piers were installed to lift and stabilize the foundation, preventing future settlement as well. Lastly, there was yet another foundation problem, this one present in the garage. The weight of the second floor of the home and the poor fill soil led to settlement in the middle of the garage. Our team installed slab piers to lift and support the bowling concrete slab.
