Tile Crack in Bathroom
Here is one of the initial signs noticed by the homeowner that indicated an issue with the floor.
Crack Above Doorway
A drywall crack forming at the top corner of the doorway indicates the floor under the wall is sagging.
Sagging Main Beam
The main beam was sagging due to sinking support and poor drainage in the crawl space. Wood support posts were in place, but not sufficient to keep the floor stabilized long-term.
Drainage Matting Installed
Drainage matting was installed to help water to drain properly in the crawl space. This is generally the first layer installed in a CleanSpace Encapsulation System, so later on, once resources are available, the space can be fully protected from moisture with a full system installed
SmartJack Supporting Main Beam
A SmartJack was installed here to support the sagging main beam.
