High Humidity
The crawl space humidity level was measured at 65 percent, a sign that an encapsulation will be necessary to protect the wood from rot and mold.
High Wood Moisture
Although the wood supporting the floor is still structurally strong, if nothing is done in the future about the high humidity level in the crawl space, the wood will weaken and rot.
