Gary C. of Vidalia, GA had a problem with his floors. The subfloor was sinking, causing the floor to feel weak. Gary called Lowcountry Basement Systems to help him with his foundation problem. Lowcountry Basement Systems installed a SmartJack System to stabilize the sinking crawl space and lift the subfloor. SmartJacks are a custom-cut to length crawl space support columns. Lowcountry Basement Systems installed five SmartJacks to fix Gary’s foundation problem.

There was a 1 inch sag in the living room floor.

Below the floor, the joists needed additional support to hold the weight above.

A total of five SmartJacks were needed to support the subfloor.

A total of five SmartJacks were needed to support the subfloor. A PowerBrace beam was also installed to allow the SmartJacks to lift multiple joists in the crawl space.
