First helical piles were installed around the perimeter of the house to stabilize the foundation. Helical piers were mechanically “screwed” into the soil and attached to the foundation footing. Next, SmartJacks and supplemental zinc-plated steel PowerBrace beams were installed in the crawlspace to give the subfloor the support needed. With the proper support, the cracks sealed up as the floor became level.
