Push Pier System Stabilizes and Lifts Gray, GA Foundation

Challenge

Wilbur S. of Gray, GA had a crack in his foundation wall. The corner of his home had sunk and the foundation cracked during the process. He wanted to fix the problem and prevent it from getting worse.

Solution

Lowcountry Foundation Repair installed four galvanized steel push piers around the sinking corner of the foundation. Piers 1, 2, and 4 were pushed to a depth of 10 feet 2 inches to reach load-bearing strata. Pier 3 was pushed to a depth of 13 feet 2 inches. The push piers stabilized and lifted the sinking foundation, closing the gap in the crack.
