Slab Piers Installed on Front Porch in Macon, GA for Commercial Client
Challenge
Precision Builders of Macon GA, called Lowcountry Foundation Repair to help with a small porch project. The location was at the home of Chris in Macon. Chris noticed a large crack in his brick wall near the entrance of his home. Chris was worried about the 'eyesore' and the future value of his custom-built home.
Solution
The solution to the problem was to stabilize the foundation and lift it back into place, sealing the crack. The inspector from Lowcountry Foundation Repair recommended installing four slab piers. The job took two days to complete. On the first day, four 8-inch cores were drilled and four slab piers were installed. The lift was achieved and the crack was closed. Chris was thrilled with the results, and Precision Builders said they would continue to send work to Lowcountry Foundation Repair.
