Floor Gap at Base of Wall in Savannah, GA

This home had an issue with the floor separating from the walls, leaving a gap. A home inspector mentioned to the homeowner that the house was settling, but the issue didn't appear too bad at the time. 2 years later, the crack had grown from just a small gap into a larger gap above an inch wide.
