Next, we sealed all the vents using foam board and spray foam insulation to prevent outside air and moisture from entering. We then filled and sealed the cracks with a specialized foam sealants to ensure a tight seal. To further protect the crawl space, we installed a durable, heavy-duty CleanSpace vapor barrier over the floor and walls, creating an airtight seal that blocks moisture. To maintain optimal humidity levels and prevent mold growth, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Finally, we removed and replaced the damaged subfloor, restoring the structural integrity of the home and ensuring a solid foundation. These steps collectively created a controlled, dry environment, protecting the home from moisture-related damage and improving indoor air quality.

Fastening Vapor Barrier
