CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System
The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System was installed throughout this customers crawl space to eliminate moisture issues they were having. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System helps to prevent moisture from seeping into the crawl space, preventing the growth of mold and mildew. It also acts as a dehumidifier, reducing humidity and creating a more comfortable living environment. Additionally, the system improves energy efficiency by sealing the crawl space, preventing conditioned air from escaping and reducing the need for heating and cooling.
Vented Crawl Space
Allowing outside elements to enter a vented crawl space can lead to various negative consequences. It can cause high humidity levels, which can lead to mold growth and wood rot. It can also result in excessive cold air infiltration in the winter, making the crawl space uncomfortable and inefficient. Additionally, rodents, insects, and other pests may find their way into the crawl space, causing further damage and health risks.
New Crawl Space Door
Our EverLast Crawl Space door was installed to replace the customers old one. With the EverLast, the customer doesn't ever have to worry about their door rotting, corroding, or ever needing paint!
Falling Insulation
The moisture damage to the insulation caused it to become saturated and droop, leading to its collapse.
Why Drainage Matting Is Important
We installed drainage matting throughout the crawl space floor. The purpose of the drainage matting installation is to collect and redirect water and moisture that enters the crawl space, preventing them from pooling and causing damage to the crawl space structure and insulation. The drainage matting allows for proper drainage and evaporation, keeping the crawl space dry and reducing the risk of mold growth and rot.
Crawl Space Dehumidification
To eliminate musty odors and excessive moisture from the crawl space, we installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier has been proven to reduce humidity by up to 95%, effectively eliminating musty odors and excessive moisture. This means a healthier and more comfortable living space, while also preventing the growth of mold and mildew.
Moisture Damage
Moisture in the crawl space led to the floors above to rot. Moisture in the crawl space can cause rotting floors because it creates an environment that is conducive to mold growth and wood deterioration. The high humidity levels caused by moisture can allow mold to grow, which releases enzymes that break down the structure of the floors. Additionally, moisture wicks into the wood causing it to expand and deteriorate, ultimately leading to rotting floors.
