Crawl Space Door
The original crawl space door was made of wood and allows water & moisture to enter the crawl space.
Falling Insulation
When insulation falls down from the subfloor, this happens because the insulation is soaked and weighed down. Wet insulation is a mold & wood rot hazard.
High Humidity Measurement
The humidity was measured at about 77% in the crawl space with microbial growth forming on the joists.
Perimeter Drainage System
Before encapsulating the crawl space, a perimeter drainage system was installed to help water seeping in to drain to the sump pump.
After CleanSpace Encapsulation
After Encapsulation, the crawl space is sealed off from outside moist air, creating a conditioned space where the humidity can be controlled.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
After the crawl space is encapsulated, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier is used to monitor, dehumidify, and filter any residual moist air that enters from the few porous surfaces left like the termite gap that is necessary at the top of the sealed walls.
EverLast Crawl Space Door
A new sealed crawl space door is installed that is designed to keep out moisture.
