This home in Saint Simons Island, GA had an open crawl space. The homeowner first noticed this may be an issue when their floors started to weaken from exposure to outside moisture. The AC unit was located in the crawlspace as well, causing the AC to be in a constant battle with outside air. Our team installed an encapsulation in the crawlspace, sealing out moisture and creating a conditioned, insulated space for the AC unit to run with more energy efficiency.
