A New Floor
Lowcountry Basement Systems installed a new floor, on top of the new subfloor.
A Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System Would Have Prevented This
After the subfloor was replaced, the crawl space was encapsulated. Had this been done years ago, it would have prevented this larger sized project.
Replacing the Joists
After removing the floor, the joists in place needed to be sistered to keep the walls in place. Although the joists remained, Lowcountry Basement Systems was able to support the new floor with the new joists that were installed.
A Very Bad Crawl Space
This crawl space was in very bad shape. Mold, wood rot, and structural failure meant the subfloor had to be replaced. There was no fixing this situation, it had to be redone.
