Standing Water in a Crawl Space
This sawmilling company owner contacted Lowcountry Basement Systems when he noticed standing water and moisture issues in the crawl space of his office. The moisture was causing the floors to sag and he knew he needed his foundation to be inspected by a trusted specialist.
CleanSpace Encapsulation
Lowcountry Basement Systems' inspector, Brian Townsel, thoroughly inspected the building's crawl space and suggested that the owner encapsulate it with CleanSpace, a seven-layer reinforced polyethylene that isolates the home from the earth and reduces humidity levels.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
Brian also suggested that he have a SaniDry Sedona installed, a dehumidifier that maintains the relative humidity in the crawl space to prevent moisture and microbial growth.
EverLast Crawl Space Door
Lastly, to seal the crawl space from the humid outside air, Brian suggested installing an EverLast Crawl Space Door. EverLast Crawl Space Door comes in a thick polypropylene plastic so it will not rust or rot.
