Our inspector, Brian Townsel, looked throughout the crawlspace for warning signs of moisture. He spotted mold growing already on new wood.

Encapsulation
The crawlspace was encapsulated to help keep moisture out.

Dehumidifier
On the right is a dehumidifier to reduce any over-extensive amounts of moisture that make it into the crawlspace, draining it away through the tube shown.

SmartDrain
The tube leads to a drain that lets the moisture leave the crawlspace.
