Crawl Space Encapsulation Solves Moisture, Mold, and Musty Odor Problems in Saint Simons Island, GA

Our office was contacted by a homeowner in Saint Simons Island, GA after searching the internet for crawl space repair companies. It was mentioned by the homeowner that moisture and musty odors were coming from their crawl space and lingering in the upper level of their home, leaving their clothing smelling musty. They contacted a company to come out to their home to perform an air and mold test within the home and in the crawl space. It was recommended they contact a crawl space repair professional to treat and encapsulate the crawl space after mold was found to be present.

Moisture in the crawl space can lead to mold growth, and the mold spores can then travel up through the upper level of the home, resulting in musty odors and affecting the quality of the indoor air. Encapsulation of the crawl space is necessary to prevent moisture from entering the crawl space and to prevent further mold growth.

Solution
