water would regularly come in to this open basement through the opening here or the base of the walls.
Water Seeping in
Water was seeping in through a crack at the base of the wall where it meets the floor. The whole floor was wet.
During Trench Drain Installation
For the Trench drain, a trench was excavated to place the waterproofing system and backfilled with drainage rock before being smoothed over with a concrete finish.
After Trench Drain Installation
Here is just after the area was smoothed over with concrete after installing the drain.
DryTrak
The DryTrak captures water at its entry point and drains the water to a sump pump to be removed from the space.
Sump Pump Installed
Here is the sump pump after installation in the basement. The concrete was just filled back in and smoothed over. The dirty protective plastic film on the top is also removed.
