Front of Crawl Space
This is the front of the crawl space that was having moisture issues.
View Front to Back
Here is a view from the doorway in a storage space with water seeping in on the right side when it would rain.
Crawl Space Door
The crawl space door was made of wood and not sealed to keep out moisture.
Perimeter Crawl Space Drain
A drainage system was installed to collect invading water and pump it out of the crawl space.
Drainage Matting Layer
A layer of drainage matting under the vapor barrier helps water to drain to the waterproofing system and acts as a cushion to prevent punctures in the vapor barrier.
After Encapsulation
With a CleanSpace Encapsulation System, this space is protected from moisture & humidity. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier on the right is able to monitor the humidity of the air and pull out moisture as needed, draining it into the sump pump on the left, which removes the water from the crawl space.
Front View After Encapsulation
The walls were sealed with Foamax wall barrier and a CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out humid air and flooding groundwater.
Foamax Wall Barrier
Foamax wall barrier was used to insulate the space and keep out moisture.
Moisture Sealed Crawl Space Door
This is the newly installed crawl space door designed to keep out moisture.
