Clogging Sump Pump
The basement had an open-top sump pump already that was failing to pump the water out effectively. It would easily clog regularly and allow water to flood the basement. Our Sump Pumps are designed to remain clog-free and require much less maintenance.
Area of Water Seepage
This is one of the areas of the basement the water was seeping in. They had to place the water heater on a raised platform to keep water from overflowing into the basin.
Wood Support Posts
The addition to the home was being improperly supported with wooden support posts. Over time, the open crawl space lets humid air deteriorate the wood, meaning it is only a matter of time before settlement occurs from wood rot.
