Rotten Joist
This is a Rotten joist our inspector found that was not only rotten but had fallen apart into pieces. The surrounding area subfloor had also been affected in multiple areas.
Falling Insulation
When insulation falls down in the crawl space, it means that the humidity levels are so high that humidity condensed into water when it met the cool subfloor and soaked into the insulation, weighing it down. We recommend and hope this customer utilizes our CleanSpace Encapsulation services to prevent future wood rot over time.
