This home had a wall that was cracking horizontally, appearing to bend inwards slightly. This is a sign that wet soil outside the basement is putting hydrostatic pressure on the wall. Over time, the crack slowly grows until eventually, the foundation wall can collapse and fail.  There was also water seeping in through the cracks leading to potential mold growth. Our team installed the PowerBrace Wall Anchor System, one of our Foundation Wall Repair products, to prevent the wall from pushing inward, then a CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier was used to prevent any moisture that comes through the crack from entering the basement and wetting the floor.
