Josephine D. of Milledgeville, GA noticed that her front porch steps had settled and pulled away from her house. Unsightly, dangerous cracks appeared. It was recommended to install a Helical Pier System on both sides of the stairs. These steel piers, were mechanically “screwed” into the soil and attached to the foundation footing. The weight of the home was transferred to the load bearing strata deep in the ground.
