Moisture in Crawl Space
This homeowner contacted Lowcountry Basement Systems when he noticed the moisture and water coming from his crawl space. He knew that it was causing problems with his home's foundation, so he scheduled an appointment with one of our inspectors.
CleanSpace
Our inspector suggested that he have our CleanSpace moisture barrier installed, a seven-layer reinforced polyethylene that isolates the home from the earth and reduces humidity levels.
SmartSump
He also suggested that he have a SmartSump sump pump installed. SmartSumps are designed to evacuate water from the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
Lastly, our inspector suggested that he have our 60-pound SaniDry Sedona installed, a dehumidifier that maintains the relative humidity in the crawl space to prevent moisture and microbial growth.
