This Warner Robins, GA home had work done by us to support its foundation with SmartJacks. The homeowner wanted to encapsulate the crawlspace as well to further secure their investment. The encapsulation prevented moisture from damaging the wood quality.

Mold Growth on New Wood

Our inspector, Brian Townsel, looked throughout the crawlspace for warning signs of moisture. He spotted mold growing already on new wood.

Brian took pictures and noted where there were visible indications of growth.

Encapsulation

The crawlspace was encapsulated to help keep moisture out.

Dehumidifier

On the right is a dehumidifier to reduce any over-extensive amounts of moisture that make it into the crawlspace, draining it away through the tube shown.
