Walterboro, SC Floor is Lifted Back into Place

Challenge

Nate B. of Walterboro, SC had areas of his floor that seemed to sag, while other areas bowed. He called Lowcountry Basement Systems and requested a free inspection of his home.

Solution

After a thorough inspection, a custom solution was designed to fix the floor. A PowerBrace Beam was installed beneath the joists in the crawl space. Three SmartJacks were installed under the PowerBrace Beam to provided additional support to the subfloor.

The project was completed in one day. The SmartJacks, each capable of supporting 60,000 pounds, lifted the floor back into place. After the lift was complete, Nate, the homeowner, verified the floor was fixed using a bubble level.
