Push Piers Stabilize and Lift Foundation in Forsyth, GA

Challenge

This Forsyth, GA homeowner was concerned about his foundation settling. He noticed cracks appearing in his walls. The Lowcountry Foundation Repair inspector found cracks under windows and on the sides of his brick house. A leaking shower was also causing issues underneath the house in the crawl space, making the soil soft due to pooling water. Lowcountry Foundation Repair designed a custom solution to stabilize the sinking foundation and restore the house back to level, sealing the cracks.

Solution

To fix the problem, three Push Piers were driven into the ground to transfer the weight of the home to the load-bearing strata below. The foundation was then hydraulically lifted and stabilized. Lowcountry Foundation Repair's Push Pier System came with a 25-year transferable warranty.

It was also recommended to address the wet crawl space. However, the homeowner chose to address that problem at a later time.
